Belo reaches you by text. That is the product, not a marketing channel, there is no feed to scroll and nothing to open. This page explains exactly what that means.
When you joined, you typed your own mobile number into the Belo app and tapped Text me a code. Above that button you were shown this, and we keep a copy of the exact wording, your number, and the moment you agreed:
By tapping "Text me a code" you agree to receive text messages from Belo: a one-time verification code, then predictions and order updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
There is no other way to subscribe. We have never bought, rented, leased or imported a phone number from anyone.
A verification code, once, when you join.
Predictions. A message offering to handle something for you, your coffee, a table, a gift. You reply to accept. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged unless you say yes.
Confirmations. Updates on something you already approved.
That is the whole list. No offers you did not ask for, no promotions, no newsletters, no "we miss you".
It varies, and it follows your activity rather than a calendar. Belo is quiet by default and speaks when it has something worth saying.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and your carrier.
Reply STOP to any message. That stops everything, immediately. You do not have to close your account, explain yourself, or find a settings screen.
Reply START to turn messages back on.
Reply HELP for help, or write to support@meetbelo.com.
Turning messages off is never treated as a reason to give you a worse experience, and agreeing to messages is never a condition of buying anything.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
